What do you mean by user identity?

A user identity is used to identify a user on a given website or application using various identification parameters. These could include user name, company name, email ID etc.

How does user identification work?

Web browsers have multiple ways to capturing user's identity. This could be via cookies, device fingerprints etc. Zipy does not capture any PII data by default unless zipy.identify() method is used to link a user session with a given identity.

Can I hide sensitive data from my web application?
